With two kitchens in separate buildings, the place can easily be divided into two, making it possible for companies of 10-20 or 30-40 to stay for themselves. Every room and cottage has its own personalized character, as it is furnished and decorated with Swahili culture handicraft and antiquities. Rooms are equipped with king size beds, fans and mosquito nets. The reefs along Galu Beach boast a generous variety of marine life. One can see a range of exotic species - from angel fish and parrot fish to dolphins, turtles, and even whale sharks. Whale shark season is from Oct to March. Deep sea fishing is also available with catches such as Tuna, Wahoo, Barracuda and Marlin. The bird life around Kinondo Kwetu is exceptionally rich - described as bird lovers paradise.
