8 Day Bush and Beach Safari

Itinerary

Day 1 - Masai Mara, Elephant Pepper Camp

On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for the Safari link scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met by a representative from Elephant Pepper Camp who will transfer you to the camp with game viewing en route. Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis.

Elephant Pepper Camp is a small and exclusive safari camp, situated in the heart of the Masai Mara’s protected Mara North Conservancy. The camp looks out across the Mara’s vast open savannah plains. Our spacious canvas tents are comfortably furnished, featuring solar lighting, and en suite bathrooms with flush toilets and traditional safari showers. Elephant Pepper Camp brings people back to nature – no traffic, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Day 4 – Galu Beach, Kinondo Kwetu

Transfer to the airstrip for the Mombasa Air schedule flight to Ukunda departing at 14h00. Arrival at 16h00, you will be met and transferred to Kinondo Kwetu. Accommodation is booked for 4 nights on a full board basis. All extras are payable direct.

Home to Ida and Filip Andersson, a Swedish family related to the famed Baron Blixen, Kinondo Kwetu is often described as a ‘home away from home’ - a paradise for those wanting a more personal experience on the Kenyan coast. Located on a tranquil private beach south of Diani, Kinondo Kwetu is classified as a ‘Kaya’ area (protected by the National Museum) due to its surrounding holy forests and sacred land. Kinondo’s various forms of accommodation are all surrounded by green shady gardens, and just a few steps from the white sandy beach. In addition to relaxing in the sun and swimming in the Indian Ocean, Kinondo Kwetu offers a range of activities– from water-sports such as kite surfing, deep sea fishing and scuba diving, to land activities such as game drives, horse riding and Yoga Weeks.

Day 8 - Depart

At 15h00, you will be transferred to the the airstrip for the 16h00 Safarilink scheduled flight back to Wilson. Arriving at 17h20, a representative will meet and transfer you either for dinner before your international flight, or direct to the international airport for your journey home. End of arrangements.
