Saruni Wild is Saruni’s private deluxe tented camp, 3 en-suite tents - 2 doubles and 1 family tent, located in a wild, scenic valley 10 km away from the main lodge in an area both rich in wildlife and privacy. Each elegantly styled tent has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilets, hot and cold water and large safari showers. They also feature spacious verandas with uninterrupted views over the Yaile Mountains of the Northern Masai Mara.
Saruni Wild’s secret valley has a large resident population of elephant, giraffe, buffalo and impala. It is also a fantastic base to spot Leopard and Wild Dog. This is true Africa and we have trained our guides to the highest standard to provide an adventurous, informative and comfortable experience.
You can track wild animals and learn bush skills. Walks are individually tailored and are set in the breath taking valley, forests, springs and mountains. Saruni Wild is an ideal base for 2 of our specialized safaris.
Drawing safaris – spend a few days sketching in some of the world’s most spectacular scenery with a professional artist, Mariane Høstmark Tveter.
Warrior for a week program – Spend a few days learning the survival skills of world class warriors – you will be trained and taught in the same way as a junior warrior learning to track animals and craft your own tools on the plains of the Masai Mara.
Night game drives – All nocturnal species are abundant around the camp, from leopard to greater galago and genet to white tailed mongoose.
