Description
Set in lush gardens amid forest and crystal clear waters on the slopes of Mount Meru, Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge is an ideal base for a Safari, or just a wonderful place to relax and simmer in the immense beauty of East Africa.

The Lodge has been adapted from an early colonial farmhouse built at the turn of the century. It has just ten rooms and provides personal service to Lodge residents only. Thick walls, heavy timber beams and period decor impart comfort and charm.

The snows of Kilimanjaro form a splendid backdrop for a sun-downer on the veranda and watching the changing colours of the glaciers is an unforgettable experience.

The gardens contain a profusion of trees and flowers, two hundred species of birds have been recorded. Troupes of Sykes and Colobus monkeys inhabit the forest and grounds.

Ngare Sero Lodge offers eight garden rooms ...about 40 square metres each, furnished with a double bed and a third occasional bed.

In the main house are two suites approximately 55 square metres. These share the main balcony and the Kilimanjaro view.
