Description The Serengeti Safari Camps are semi-nomadic - they won't move whilst you are there - but they are actually on a wide orbit shadowing the migration; so you, your Tanzanian driver-guide and private 4WD vehicle are as close to a million wildebeest as possible. While you can head off from dawn till dusk on your own adventures, the small wandering camps are sociable because they are shared - with guests staying in classic bush style. Each luxury tent sits alone on a beautiful patch of Africa, a stroll away from the candlelit canvas mess for safari bonhomie in the soul of the African night. The bathrooms are en-suite, with traditional safari style bucket showers, short drop toilets, and hot and cold water available on demand. The camps themselves are well equipped, but light and simple. All you have to do is arrive in camp at the end of every dramatic day - tired, wired, and dusty - to hot showers, ice filled gin & tonics, and a roaring campfire.
The days end with dinner, stars and a tent furnished with all a great adventurer could wish for.
Serengeti Safari Camp travels through the Serengeti National Park where the densities of animals and predators are high. The camp will have been positioned before arrival in likely proximity to the predicted path of the migration. Each couple, or group of guests has total flexibility to plan daily activities according to their own interests. A safari that spans both the Serengeti and Loliondo Safari Camps will assure you of the ultimate safari experience.
